Makatots – Makaton is a combination of signs and speech, and is used to support communication. We offer bespoke sessions for children using Makaton and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, plus the arts – humanities, language arts, dance, drama, music, visual arts, design and new media.) to create sensory sessions to teach Makaton to children and parents from 6 months – 2 years.
Makatoddlers – Bespoke sessions for children using Makaton and STEAM to create sensory sessions to teach Makaton to children and parents from 2 – 5 years.
STEAM sessions – Using creativity and science we run block sessions using science and creativity. Our main areas are environmental and biological science so our sessions teach the importance of looking after your body and your environment. These include self sustainable living, how to grow and cook food and what different types of foods you body uses. The creative sessions include creating characters and stop motion animation.
Makaton basics for kids – Learning the basics in conversational signing and recognition of symbols using creativity as a tool for teaching ages 6 – 12
Taster Days – a chance to come along and try short sessions for a heavily discounted cost; sampling both our style and those who teach it.
