Makaton

What is Makaton?

Makaton is a language programme using signs and symbols to support communication. Signs are used, with speech, in spoken word order. This helps to provide extra information about what someone is saying. Using signs and symbols can help people who have no speech or whose speech is unclear.

Makaton Workshops

Whiffle Pig offers a range of official Makaton workshops run by Annie, a licensed Regional Makaton Tutor (license ID 103521).

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic our training has now moved online via Zoom!
